We're simply not satisfied with average flavors. It's part of the Summer Freeze experience to expect fresh tastes in our generous portions! And we want to prepare your meal the way you like it. We'd love to accommodate your request--just ask!

The Beginnings of Summer Freeze

In the beginning, there was no set size for what an ice cream cone should be. The first owners simply asked "If I ordered a small cone this is what I would want to eat." This turned out to be 10 ounces for a small and our large tops out at 21 ounces of creamy soft serve on a #70 cone. Without trying, we became known for its very large portions. Our customers travel from Goffstown, Bristol, Lebanon, Littleton, and Hanover.

During the last ten years, expansions have taken place to better serve our growing customer base. Currently four ice cream machines (two flavor twist machines) are in service. The walk-in cooler/freezer and a sandwich bar are new along with seafood items. Our whole clams, scallops, and shrimp are delicious but our freshly breaded haddock dinner special on Fridays remain our greatest success.

When adding the walk-in, we tore down the garage, which added lots of new and much needed parking spaces. Our customers have appreciated it. Those that could not get in because we were always too busy, and those that took a chance and parked on the very busy Route 3 have all thanked us many times.

Celebrating Our 18th Year

In 2009, new owner Steve enhanced the beautiful patio area next to a quiet stream for a great place to enjoy the day with friends. Keeping a clean, neat appearance is always on the menu! We love to see our customers enjoy the atmosphere of Summer Freeze on warm New England days.

Staff

Where would Summer Freeze be without our great employees? We have the best kids in the area. Some of them have been here five or six years. They know our large menu backwards and forwards so ask them if you have trouble deciding what to eat!
